"One Heartbeat at a Time"

Choosing the first song of 2012 for Musical Blessings was a little bit of a challenge. There are so many great songs out there, several of which have been speaking to my heart lately. But those of you who have been following BBM for any length of time know how excited I've been about The Gentleness Challenge! (Hopefully you're not too sick of hearing about it yet...lol). I heard this at church during child dedication and was a tear-stained mess by the end. A great reminder of the awesome responsibilty it is to be a mom and that what we do, no matter how small it seems, matter! Warning: Get the tissues handy!

    The most recent song speaking to my heart is Follow You, by Leeland with Brandon Heath. It reminds me that my life is not my own, but that I live for God. And HE wants me to make a difference in this world.

    Surprise, surprise... my blog posts recently have been along the same theme. :)
