Hi! My name is Torrie and I'm so glad you're here.
A Little About Me:
First and formost, I LOVE Jesus!!! I love Him with all my heart and with all that I am. It is the desire of my heart to see others fall in love with him too. It excites me to tears when I see Him working in hearts and lives, drawing people into a closer relationship with Him. He is the Almighty God, Creator of the universe, Keeper of the stars, Lover of my soul, Best Friend, Abba-Daddy...my All in All!!!
Since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be a wife and mommy. It was, and still is, my dream job. Thankfully, God answered these desires of my heart. I have been happily married to the love of my life for 11 years. He is an amazing man of God and I am honored to be his wife. We've been blessed with two beautiful children, Logan and Leah - ages 9 and 3. It is my privledge to be a stay at home mommy. Currently, we call Las Vegas home. We have also lived in NW Ohio and Los Angeles, CA.
Why I Blog?
I blog simply because God has called me to. In the spring of 2011, He laid it on my heart to begin this blog. I have loved writing since high school, but hadn't picked up a pen and paper since college. In fact, I had forgotten how much I loved it, until God allowed me to stumble onto the blog of a friend, which led to another blog and another blog. Before I knew it, my eyes were being opened to this new community of Christian woman. I was hooked!! As I began to feel God prompting me to write, I began to pray over what He was calling me to do. He has used the blogs of other Godly women to speak to me, directing me, and show me what His will is for my life. He has called me into women's ministry - online. He has given me a deep desire to see women embarce their roles as wives and mothers, being a helpmate to their husbands and being a Christ-centered example in their homes. It humbles me to think that God would choose me to deliver His message to my sisters. It is not a responsibility I take lightly. I am honored by every opportunity He gives me to share His heart. So please know, if you've stumbled on BBM, it's not by accident. I have been praying for you!
