This week's song comes from one of our readers. Fawn, from The Happy Wives Club, shared her favorite song, Dirty Dishes by Scotty McCreey. Although we are avid country music fans, I hadn't heard this song, but on listen and I was hooked! As a mom, it's a great reminder of what is really important. Enjoy!!

"One Heartbeat at a Time"

Choosing the first song of 2012 for Musical Blessings was a little bit of a challenge. There are so many great songs out there, several of which have been speaking to my heart lately. But those of you who have been following BBM for any length of time know how excited I've been about The Gentleness Challenge! (Hopefully you're not too sick of hearing about it yet...lol). I heard this at church during child dedication and was a tear-stained mess by the end. A great reminder of the awesome responsibilty it is to be a mom and that what we do, no matter how small it seems, matter! Warning: Get the tissues handy!
